Lives Matter at North Point
In 2008, we launched the Lives Matter campaign. Our goal is to bring awareness of the Gospel and shed Christ’s light to the Greater Plainwell Area.
Since the launch of this campaign, the North Point team has been providing back packs to local students in need, working with the Plainwell Christmas Project to make sure that local families have food and household supplies, and the Worship Team played for the community at the Plainwell Island Festival. Through the North Point Deacon’s Fund, we have provided food and support for those in need, and many of the members of our congregation have assisted families with home repairs and improvements. We have invested in the children of the community through One Way Street, the North Point Children’s Ministry and HIT, the North Point Youth Group Program.
We have prayed for many, walked with many, and have participated in the community in a variety of ways. We continue to attempt to show others that their Lives Matter, to us, to the community, and most importantly to God.
In 2009 we will continue to deepen our walk with Christ, share the Gospel, and be a light to the community. We are told through the Scriptures that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37, Luke 10:2).
